I was 14 when I first heard of the Pixies. I stumble in to their music because I was rebellious and always looking for a sound that was outside the mainstream of my Colombian culture. Their lyrics were certainly surreal and my poor English skills didn't help either but that didn't stop me from appreciating their unique sound. Now many years later is still refreshing...
